1. Introduction & Acceptance

1.1

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Tech Summit website, registration for events, purchase of tickets or passes, and participation in any Tech Summit event.

1.2

Tech Summit is operated and legally represented by Tech Jobs Fair GmbH, and all agreements, registrations, and transactions are made with Tech Jobs Fair GmbH as the official legal entity.

1.3

By accessing our website, registering for events, purchasing tickets/passes, or attending an event, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1.4

If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you must not use the website or attend our events.

2. Definitions

In these Terms:

• "We", "Us", "Our" refers to Tech Summit, operated by Tech Jobs Fair GmbH and its affiliates.
• "You", "Your", "User", "Attendee" refers to any person using the website or attending an event.
• "Event" refers to any conference, exhibition, summit, networking session, or activity organized by Tech Summit.
• "Ticket / Pass" refers to any admission, registration, or access credential for an Event.
• "Services" refers to all services offered through our website and at Events, including registration, ticketing, content access, matchmaking, networking platforms, exhibitor or sponsor services.
• "Content" refers to text, images, videos, presentations, and other materials provided via the website or during the Event.

3. Website & Registration Use

3.1 Eligibility

You must be of legal age and legally capable of entering agreements to use the website and register for Events.

3.2 Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.3 Prohibited Uses

You must not misuse the website or services, including hacking, unauthorized access, scraping, transmitting harmful code, impersonation, or fraudulent behavior.

3.4 Account Security

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access or breach.

4. Ticketing, Payment & Registration

4.1 Ticket Types

We may offer multiple ticket categories (General Admission, VIP, Exhibitor, Speaker, etc.), each with unique benefits and limits.

4.2 Pricing & Payment

Ticket prices and payment methods are listed during registration. You must complete payment (when applicable) to confirm your registration.

4.3 Confirmation

After successful payment or approval, you will receive a confirmation email with your ticket/pass details.

4.4 Ticket Use

Tickets/passes are valid only for the specific Event and date. Tickets are generally non-transferable, unless explicitly permitted. Valid ID may be required for entry.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

5.1 Attendee Cancellation

• All attendee-initiated cancellations are non-refundable.
• No-show attendees will not receive refunds, credits, or transfers.

5.2 Organizer Cancellation or Change

If Tech Summit (Tech Jobs Fair GmbH) cancels or significantly changes an Event, except 5.3 Force Majeure:

• Registered attendees will be offered either a full refund or an event credit, depending on the circumstance.
• We are not liable for ancillary expenses (travel, accommodation, visas, etc.).

5.3 Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• Pandemics
• Government restrictions
• Venue closures
• Transportation strikes
• Security risks

6. Code of Conduct & Event Behaviour

6.1 Respect & Inclusion

Attendees must behave respectfully and avoid harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct.

6.2 Venue Compliance

Attendees must follow all venue rules and staff instructions.

6.3 Recording & Photography

Events may be recorded or photographed for marketing or documentation purposes. By attending, you consent to such usage unless you opt out in writing before the event.

6.4 Badge & Access Control

Unauthorized access to restricted areas or misuse of badges will result in removal without refund.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Our Content

All Content on our website and at Events is owned by Tech Summit or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute our Content without permission
• Modify, create derivative works, or reverse engineer
• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without authorization
• Record, live-stream, or broadcast sessions without permission

7.2 Speaker and Exhibitor Content

• Presentations and materials remain the property of speakers
• Unauthorized recording or distribution is prohibited
• Some content may be made available post-Event with permission

7.3 User-Generated Content

If you submit content (comments, questions, posts):

• You retain ownership but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute it
• You represent that you have the right to submit the content
• You agree not to submit offensive, illegal, or infringing content
• We may remove any content at our discretion

8. Liability Limitation & Disclaimer

8.1

Services are provided "as is," without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free access.

8.2

Tech Summit (Tech Jobs Fair GmbH) is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, business interruption, personal injury, or property loss.

8.3

Attendance is at your own risk. You are encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance.

8.4

We are not responsible for actions or failures of third-party vendors, venues, or other external service providers.

9. Data Protection & Privacy

9.1

We process data in accordance with our Privacy Policy (linked separately).

9.2

While reasonable measures are taken to protect data, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9.3

You confirm that any personal information submitted is accurate and lawful.

10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

10.1

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, where Tech Jobs Fair GmbH is legally registered.

10.2

Any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vienna, Austria.

10.3

11. Amendments & Updates

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published with the latest "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
