Women in AI Austria

Founded in 2020, the non-profit association promotes women and diversity in the field of artificial intelligence and drives fair and, above all, responsible AI development. People are at the heart of Women in AI Austria. The association's goal is therefore to create a strong network for everyone – regardless of gender, education, age, or professional background. Such networks are particularly important for supporting the advancement of women and diversity in the field of AI, both nationally and internationally. In addition, the association strives for the social development of digital humanism and fair AI development, focusing on the recognition and combating of biases and discrimination in AI systems as well as the fundamental rights implications of artificial intelligence. The promotion of training and further education measures to teach AI skills, the support of science and research on AI, and policy work at the national and international level are also high on the association's agenda. The members of “Women in AI Austria” are women with expertise in all relevant subject areas who are always available as competent partners for decision-makers and anyone else who is interested.
