Definition
A Community Partner refers to associations, communities, groups, or networks that collaborate with TJF / Tech Summit for mutual promotion and visibility with or without commercial obligations.
§1: Subject of the Agreement

This agreement outlines the mutual collaboration between TJF / Tech Summit and the Community Partner for event promotion, shared visibility, and community engagement. -
The collaboration is designed to enhance partner experience, add value, and create meaningful shared visibility. -
No booth, rental, or mandatory payment obligations apply to community partners unless separately agreed. -
Both parties participate in joint promotional activities, listings, content sharing, and optional event involvement. -
TJF/Tech Summit determines final placement of partner logos or mentions across its platforms.
§2: Partnership Deliverables
Both parties agree to collaborate through activities such as:

Sharing event announcements, posts, newsletters, or relevant updates within the partner’s community. -
Providing required promotional materials (logos, descriptions, links, media assets) in a timely manner. -
Receiving appropriate visibility through TJF/Tech Summit channels (websites, social media, partner lists). -
Codes may be provided for the partner’s community for event access or engagement (without tracking obligations).
§3: Obligations of the Community Partner
The Community Partner agrees to:

Share mutually agreed promotional content within their community. -
Use official event materials responsibly and without unauthorized modification. -
Provide only content that does not infringe on intellectual property, copyright, or legal rights. -
Not request or misuse attendee data unless separately agreed under applicable laws.
§4: Obligations of TJF / Tech Summit
TJF / Tech Summit will:

Provide visibility and partner acknowledgement on relevant event platforms and marketing channels. -
Use the partner’s logo and materials solely for partnership promotion. -
Provide community codes (non-tracked) for engagement when relevant. -
Deliver agreed promotional benefits (mentions, listings, collaborative content) as mutually defined.
§5: Communication & Approval

Both parties may publish partnership-related posts without requiring approval for standard announcements. -
Any use of sensitive content or co-branded assets will require mutual approval. -
Materials shared must be used in their official and unmodified format unless approved.
§6: Brand Usage Guidelines

Each party must use the other’s logos, names, and assets only as provided and only for partnership promotion. -
No party may create edited, misleading, or derivative versions of the other party’s branding.
§7: Liability & Indemnification

Each party is responsible for ensuring all shared content is accurate and legally compliant. -
Both parties indemnify one another against claims arising from unlawful or infringing content they provided. -
Neither party shall be liable for indirect or incidental damages (e.g., loss of revenue) unless caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence.
§8: Data Protection

Both parties will comply with GDPR and applicable data protection laws. -
Any shared data (logos, descriptions, contact points) will be used strictly for partnership-related activities. -
TJF/Tech Summit may list the partner on its official platforms (Tech Summit, TJF, Hire Tech Talent, Germany Startup Jobs, etc.). -
Event photos/videos may be used for promotional purposes; pre-event opt-out is allowed, but removal after posting cannot be guaranteed.
GDPR Compliance: All data processing activities comply with applicable data protection regulations including GDPR.
§9: Duration & Termination

The agreement is valid for the event and accompanying promotional period. -
This partnership is non-exclusive; both parties may collaborate with others. -
Either party may withdraw with written notice; already-executed promotions cannot be undone. -
Immediate termination may occur in cases of major breach or reputational harm.
§10: Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions).
§11: Final Provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts. -
If any provision becomes invalid, remaining clauses stay in effect. -
Invalid provisions will be replaced with ones closest in purpose and effect.
