Priv.-Doz. Jana Eder, PhD, is a Principal Investigator and AI scientist working at the interface of artificial intelligence and clinical research. Her research focuses on developing machine learning methods that can learn from limited and heterogeneous medical data, including quantitative imaging, to enable robust and clinically meaningful analyses in biomedical research and clinical studies. Dr. Eder combines academic research with extensive industry experience, including senior roles in artificial intelligence. She has authored numerous scientific publications and patents and serves on the advisory board of Chondrometrics GmbH, a company specializing in medical imaging AI for automated segmentation and quantitative analysis of medical images. She is also a founding member of Women in AI Austria.

Fatemeh-Shirin Asgari
Fatemeh-Shirin Asgari, MSc is an expert in artificial intelligence, innovation, and strategic digitalization in the infrastructure sector. She worked for many years in strategic procurement of IT and services at ÖBB before deepening her bridge-building between technology and strategy with a second master’s degree in computer science and her research on generative AI. Today, she leads AI innovation projects at ÖBB Infrastructure that make rail operations more efficient, safer, and more sustainable. Shirin is involved as a community manager at AI Austria, where she promotes knowledge transfer and collaboration within the Austrian AI ecosystem. As an ambassador for WOMENinICT and an active member of Women in AI Austria, she is committed to diversity, visibility, and the empowerment of women in technology.
Nina Hechenberger
Nina Hechenberger bridges the gap between NGOs and the worlds of technology and digitalization. After nearly two decades in leadership positions in development cooperation and humanitarian aid, she expanded her expertise in digital (business) transformation and artificial intelligence and founded fair-digital.at. Her vision: digital transformation and artificial intelligence should be fair, inclusive, and value-based. Through her work, she connects NGOs, the digital economy, and social innovation in order to support shared digital and social transformation.
